Development of complete technical documentation together with accompanying services, including author's supervision over the implementation of the project "Construction of a dry flood protection reservoir Roztoki Bystrzyckie on the Goworówka stream".

THE PURPOSE OF THE INVESTMENT

The direct benefit of building a dry flood protection reservoir "Roztoki Bystrzyckie" on the Goworówka stream is the flood protection of Roztoki and together with the dry flood protection reservoir "Boboszów" on the Eastern Neisse River also Bystrzyca Kłodzka and indirectly Kłodzko, located in the commune of Międzylesie, Kłodzko County in the Lower Silesia Voivodeship. These towns were particularly affected by the great flood of 1997.

Scope of the development

The scope of the development included:

Basin facilities design, in particular:

  • Design of the earth dam including the formation of the upper position (the foreground of the dam) and the lower step.
  • Design of drain devices, consisting of an inlet section, a tunnel (flow channels with floodlights, communication gallery with an entrance building) and an outlet section (an outlet basin with a transition section) and overflow devices located along the abutment of the right dam consisting of an inlet with a weir, an outlet with energy dissipation devices connected with each other by two pipelines with a diameter of 2x O3600mm.
  • Design of a fragmentary regulation of the Goworówka stream channel in the lower and upper step position.
  • Design of forming the reservoir basin together with shaping the escarpments.
  • Design of service roads.
  • Design of control and measurement devices and object automation.
  • Design of the back-up building.
  • Design of planting and shaping of green elements in the area of the planned investment.
  • Project of technical infrastructure installation in the scope of construction of new networks for the needs of the designed object related to the connection of the object to the electrical and telecommunication network, power supply, lighting, control and sanitary installations.

Design of redeployment or demolition of existing elements colliding with the investment, in particular:

  • Project of a fragmentary regulation of the Novinka stream trough in the basin of the reservoir - redeployment of the existing trough, regulation of the existing trough.
  • Project of a fragmentary regulation of the Goworówka stream channel in the basin of the reservoir.
  • Redeployment project of the existing municipal road, which is not a public road - demolition and construction in a new location.
  • Project of cable MV 20kV overhead line - demolition and construction in the new location.
  • Project of the DN200, 1.6Mpa gas pipeline redeployment - demolition and construction in the new location.
  • Design of a new section of the district road No. 3233D in a location not colliding with the designed 1.3 km long tank.
  • Project of a new bridge within the planned new section of district road No. 3233D over the Nowinka stream.

Project of technological works related to the implementation of the investment, in particular:

  • Design of building pits (foundation pits) for the construction of dams and discharge devices.
  • Design of service roads related to the implementation of the investment.

Under the contract, a multi-variant concept was developed, a project information sheet, an environmental impact report with a decision on the environmental conditions for the execution of the project, water law reports for the execution of water structures with a decision on the water law permit, a construction project with a decision on the permit for the execution of the flood control project, executive documentation, cost, specifications for the execution and acceptance of works.

Basic parameters of the objects

Technical parameters of the basin:

  • Hydrotechnical class of embankments - II and III class.
  • The authoritative flow with a probability of occurrence of p= 0.5% - Qm = Q 0.5% = 91.4 m3-s-1.
  • Control flow with probability of occurrence p=0.2% plus estimation error - Qk = Q 0.2+? = 154.0 m3·s-1.
  • Max. water damming level - 421.70m above sea level
  • Basin capacity at the maximum level of damming - 2.75 million m3.
  • Flooded area with maximum level of damming - 48.7 ha.

Technical parameters of the dam:

  • Dam length - 756.00m;
  • Maximum dam height - 15.50m;
  • The dam body - earth.
  • Substrate sealing - waterproof membrane.
  • Body sealing - PVC screen topped with a sill.
  • Drain removal - stone drainage, relief wells.

Technical parameters of discharge equipment

  • Total length of discharge equipment - 128.20 m;
  • Dimensions of the main drain adit clearance - 4.00 m x 4.00 m.
  • Dimensions of the emergency drain adit clearance - 1.70 m x 2.90 m.
  • Dimensions of the gallery clearance - 1.70 m x 3.20 m.
  • Total length of overflow devices - 365.40 m;
  • Length of the main overflow - 8.00 m.
  • Length of emergency overflow - 14.50 m.
  • Diameter of drainage pipelines - 2 x 3.60 m.
